It seems that Sega has other plans for the peripheral, which uses advanced "spatial
recognition" technology. Cool. Examples given were the possibility of swinging a baseball bat
for a sports game or even a sword for an adventure title. It's actually not that big a
deal...the Genny had something like this. It was called the "Activator" and it was a dismal
failure, but over in the Land of the Rising Sun, they seem to be considerably less
self-conscious about making public spectacles of themselves. They sure know how to have fun over
there...
