Oh the horror!

GASP! - At the freak of nature that is the Knuckles Chao!

PONDER! - At the PSO’s curious new title!

SIGH! - At the rehashes of the same games you’ve played a million times

DROOL - Over more Sonic stuff you’ll never have!

SHRUG! - At a language you can’t understand

LAUGH! - At this article that I ripped of an old Pepperidge post!

BURN - in Hell, Rob.

Anyway, there was something interesting brought to my attention by our good pal, Rlan from Sonic HQ. A couple of years ago Lien "Chainspike" Nguyen made a Knuckles Adventure hoax for Sonic HQ. One of the images she made herself was a Knuckles Chao:

Now look at Sonic Team's new downloadable "Knuckles Chao":

Check your homes for cameras people, Sonic Team is watching you.

PSO Episode I & II? Oh God. Ohshima, why did you have to leave? I swear he was the only man keeping Naka in line...
Friday, March 29 2002 Yuji Naka Gets His Posted by Segaholic2 at 5:18 PM CT This is old news... Yuji Naka was awarded for lifetime achievement by the GDC for his contributions to the gaming industry. So... Sega.com has finally got their take on it up on the official site. Check it out here.
Classic Sega Games to be Rehashed on Game Boy Advance Posted by Pepperidge at 1:17 AM CT And this time around, all "games are designed for one system, and one system only" remarks should be addressed to THQ, okay SuitCase?

THQ has gotten a bit cocky after their initial success with Sonic Advance, and have taken it as their responsibility to make shameless rehashes of many Sega games (even RECENT ones) on the GBA.

But then again, this isn't entirely bad news. Out of the list of shameless knock-offs, one proposed game stands out. Sega and THQ are officially planning to port the first three original Phantasy Star games to the Game Boy Advance in one cartridge with the working title Phantasy Star Collection. Whether the games will sport updated graphics or not has been unannounced. Though for some reason, the word "no" pops into my mind...

Again, sorry for being late with this story. I would've reported it had I not had to partake in celebrations surrounding the twelve year anniversary of my demon-sister's creation. But once again, I'll just blame Bakari for all this.
Tuesday, March 26 2002 Classic Sega Games to be Rehashed on X-Box Posted by Pepperidge at 7:34 PM CT According to this article on GameSpot, Coolnet Entertainment signed a pact with Sega (in blood, I'm sure) to work together to remake Sega games from the Mega Drive, Dreamcast and Saturn on the Microsoft X-Box.

They say that the games will be selected based on popularity, so remake versions of NiGHTS into Dreams... or even Burning Rangers are quite possible. Though for the record, I'd rather see Sonic Team remake those games themselves...

Note: Sorry about being a day late with these stories. I was positive Rob would bail me out last night. Bastard...
Sonic Team's Gone Fishin'... Posted by Pepperidge at 7:24 PM CT Sonic Team decides to stop robbing from the house the plumber built for a change. For this installment of Sonic Cafe, they've decided to create a fishing game (undubiously titled Sonic Fishing. Go figure) which seems to play in a style similar to Sega's fishing games. Goodie.

Clever... This rod is probably the closest thing to a Big appearance we'll ever see again Hmm, the arrows seems to indicate that this game may feature MORE than one lure! Wow. Red.

Unsurprisingly, despite making this game right in his territory, Sonic Team has ensured that Big is in now way involved in this game. As well as Sonic, for that matter.

Sunday, March 24 2002 Download Japanese Sonic Commercials! Posted by Segaholic2 at 11:53 PM CT Yeah, the Japanese get cooler commercials than us Americans. How sad. Major kudos to SuitCase for the heads up.

Thursday, March 21 2002 PSO toys discovered; millions die in suicide cults Posted by Popcorn at 5:32 PM CT Oh, look; more great random gaming crap we'll never live to see within a thousand miles of our lusting sweaty palms. This time it's a collection of upsettingly-well crafted Phantasy Star Online models that'll stir your wanking hand into action, starring some Cananes-onna-stick, Sinows (both beat and gold varieties), and that loveable Vol Opt; all of Mines fame. These models, despite their apparent attention to detail, are supposedly fan-made:

Telepathic kudos to Pioneer Alley for all but the last image, which was supplied by our very own Silv. Yosh, indeed.
Wednesday, March 20 2002 PIECE OF SHIT Posted by Pepperidge at 6:25 PM CT Testing... TESTING! Stupid server devoured several news files for no apparent reason.

If you can't read this, you're obligated to BURN IN HELL.
