All was quiet in Knothole Village since the battle with Dark Shadow.
Sonic and his twin, Ashura were sitting by the lake of Rings.

ASHURA:	 I wonder what happened to Dark Shadow.
SONIC: Me too, I don't think he could have just disappeared.
ASHURA: Robotnik too. After Tails trashed the Egg-O-Matic he kind of disappeared.
SONIC: You're right, we better check it out!
>From inside the main hut Sonic hears Sally.
SALLY: No! This can't be!
Sonic and Ashura zoom into the hut.
SALLY: Sonic! It's Snively! He's cutting down trees with some super chainsaw!
SONIC: Look on the other screen! There's Metal Sonic destroying another section of the forest.
SALLY:We'll split up! I'll call Knuckles on the radio. Sonic, you and Ashura go, and Knuckles and Tails will go take Snively.
SONIC: What about you?
SALLY: I'm going to watch on the monitors.
TAILS: Come on!
A few minutes later Knux came.

SALLY: Thanks for coming, Knuckles. 
Sal gives Knux the scoop.
KNUCKLES: I'll be glad to help!
Tails and Knux fly off.

SONIC: Let's go, Ash!
ASHURA: Hey, I've been training, now I'm as fast as you!
SONIC: Yeah right, let's race!
The two ZOOM off.

TAILS: There's Snively, GET HIM!
SNIVELY: HaHAHa! Get 'em boys!
Several ComBoTs and SwatBoTs and BuzzBombeRs come racing out at Tails and Knux.
KNUX: YIKES@!!
He jumps out of the way and 2 BuzzBomBers crash into each other.
Tails claps his Tails together... on the SwatBoT's head.
Back on the other side of the Forest we find Ashura and Sonic.
Sonic beats Ashura by 2 seconds in the race.
ASHURA:Sonic there's Mecha-Sonic!!
SONIC & ASURA: Up, Over and Gone!
The two zip off and M-sonc has a big surprise, Metal- Ashura!
ASHURA: You idiot, I'm going to DESTROY YOU!
Ashura grabs a Chaos Emerald out of his back pack. Then he does a spin dash.
A few seconds later... well let's say that M-Ashura looked worse than Sonic did after he and Knux exploded.
SONIC: Ouch, Hey M-Sonic, ready to RUMBLE??
Sonic grabs the Chaos Emerald from Ash. All of a sudden Sonic disappears in a flash of green.
ASHURA: OoPs! Uh, bye!
Ashura starts to run away but turns around and does a Super Strike Dash! (Sonic Triple Trouble)
M-SONIC: Hey, WAIT!
Ouch, let's not discuss what M-Sonic looked like. All Asura's dash did was knock him off balance, but M-Sonic tripped over M-Ashura's parts and fell in the Great River.
