Chapter 4- The Ghosts and the Guests 
 
 

 The flickering lights and the strange voice were only the first signs that there was someone else in the house. The next morning, the mess caused by the previous day's fights was all cleaned up. Later that day, Bonnie heard the shower running in the bathroom nearest her room, but all her friends were downstairs. And everyone was sure they heard footsteps that seemed to be coming from the attic. 

 The day after that, Candy went up to the attic to investigate. A few minutes later, she told her friends, "I went up there, and I saw this Chinese girl about my age. Her color was a little off, but she seemed harmless." 

 Not believing her, Bahn went to investigate. When he came back, he said, "Are you sure there was only one, Candy? I saw two girls- the one you saw and one who looked normal." 

 Everyone was still confused. So they decided that all of them should go look. 

 Meanwhile, in the attic, two ghostly sisters were talking. 

 "Why don't they just come talk to us or something?" Lei-Lei asked her twin. "They know we're here." 

 "I really don't know," replied Lin-Lin. "I doubt they're scared. But I think maybe we should say something besides 'Stop it!' to them first." Not very long after Lin finished her sentence, everyone else came into the attic. 

"Nihao!" Lei-Lei said to them as she waved. Her sister also waved. 

"Hello girls," said Candy. "What are your names, where are you from, and what are you doing here?" 

"I'm Lin-Lin, and this is my twin sister, Lei-Lei," said Lin-Lin. She then told their story, not omitting anything. 

"A friend of ours got married not too long ago," said Lei-Lei after her sister had finished. "And for some reason, as we left the reception, I started wondering what it would be like if Lin-Lin and I started being like normal teens. I told her this, and she agreed. We heard about this music festival, and decided to stay here a little while." 

"We're here for the festival, too." said Lion. "We would have some other people with us, but they didn't wanna come." 

"Hey," said Pai, "why don't you come home with us after the festival? You can meet our other friends, and go out every Friday night with us!" 

"Where is your home?" asked Lei-Lei. 

"Armstone City," said Picky. "I'm sure you'll like it there." 

"Well, Lin-Lin?" Lei-Lei turned to her sister. 

"Sounds good to me," said Lin-Lin. She and her sister were now part of the group.
