Chapter 5- Storm Warning 
 
 

 The blanket of fog lifted the day after Lei-Lei and Lin-Lin had joined the group. However, the sky was still very cloudy. That did not stop the gang, who had decided to try the usual Friday night ritual despite the fact that Fairwestern Harbor didn't have nearly as many places they'd wanna go as Armstone City. When everyone got to town, only a few places were still open. 

 "Back in Armstone, our Friday nights are a little more exciting than this," Candy told Lei-Lei and Lin-Lin. 

 "I bet," said Lei-Lei. "One of the first things Lin-Lin and I noticed about this place was how boring it was. Odd that anyone would wanna hold such a big music festival here!" 

 Not seeing too many other options, the gang parked the Vipermobile at a restaraunt that was open twenty-four hours. When they got in, they asked the hostess if she knew of any place with "more action". 

 "You'd have to drive a ways," replied the hostess. "Vistors to Fairwestern Harabor must come just to relax, I guess." 

 "How can they relax when a big rock festival's coming up?" asked Ruth. "Or did we come all this way for nothing?" 

 "The festival's still on," replied the hostess. "It's gonna be in that big park you might have seen on your way into town. However, they haven't started setting up everything yet. 'Fraid it might all blow away." 

 "Blow away?" said Bonnie. 

 "Didn't you hear?" said the hostess. "A hurricane's heading this way! It may hit us or it may not, no one knows yet. Now, table or booth, smoking or non?"

 "A hurricane?" Candy said after she and her friends had returned from the restaraunt. "I've been through earthquakes, but never a hurricane!" 

 "Well, they're both natural disaters," said Picky. "And well, we surrived those earthquakes, so we should survive the hurricane." 

 Everyone went to bed, but had difficulty sleeping because they couldn't shake the the thought of having to go through a hurricane.
