Sky Sanctuary Poll

Welcome to the Sky Sanctuary Poll. Scroll on down to the bottom, and there will be a link that leads you to two questions. One regarding Sonic, the other regarding videogames in general. Answer whichever one you want, or you can answer 'em both. Remember that this isn't a quiz or anything...it's a poll, so feel free to explain your opinions.

The Sky Sanctuary Poll is updated every Saturday, which means that two new questions will be posted and the results to the previous weeks poll will be displayed. I guess that covers it, so dig in!

Last time...

Here are the results to last week's Sonic poll, "If you could only choose one, which of the following would it be: Sonic 4, Sonic RPG, Sonic Championship, or Sonic R2?":
********************************************************
Sonic 4: 9 votes
Sonic RPG: 8 votes
Sonic R2: 3 votes

Depends on what system the game is for, although Sonic 4 seems like the best choice. [Most likely Katana...I wouldn't count on any more Sonic games for the Saturn. If the Katana isn't coming out until '99 like Sega says, then that means 1998 will be the first year since Sonic 1 that not a SINGLE Sonic game is released. Kinda unsettling, huh?]

GG! I got my 'Sonic Spin' plushie in a corner of the top shelf in a mall in Kansas City. About 2 years ago. Your best bet would to look at a Toys R Us in the satuffed animal section at the back of the store. (All Toys R US buildings are alike!) They'll have a gold mine of rare plushies. At least the 2 around here do... Good luck findin' one! Oh, and my answer to the question is Sonic 4! -Bo- http://www.fortunecity.com/skyscraper/firelli/192

SONIC FOUR! We haven't had a REAL Sonic game for SOOOOOO LOOOONG! And I can NOT deal with another R. And I hate fighting games. And RPG's I don't like all that much either(you can shoot me now, I've admited it) -- Del [Okay, you've really asked for it. *GG! blasts Del with the Sacred Veal Cane* Hey, you really did ask for it, ya know...]

Sonic RPG! I need something new in my life besides fighting and racing games. A chance to handle more Sonic characters than thought of is fantastic.

Sonic RPG Dark Gibbon loves his RPGs -- Dark Gibbon AKA Democrat boy PS JM Stalker is bothering me with his Democrat hating antics *Dark Gibbon takes out his sax and performs the Billy C sax attack of Doom on JM Stalker. Seeing that JMs intrails are splatered for miles around DG walks away with a contented smile on his face* oh well all in a days work. [Well, JM? You gonna stand for that?]

I think I would like to see Sonic 4 I just need that old time sonic feeling back -- Clarence33 Ps please give me more drano Cokies I ran out [No one gets any Drano cookies until I found out where all the missing ones have been going...]

Sonic RPG!!

Sonic RPG. Sonic & Knuckles is Sonic 4, so to speak. [Not really. S&K was more like the planned continuation of Sonic 3. I thought it was a very cool trick myself, and am somewhat surprised that the only game to further utilize it so far is Shining Force III.]

AKKK! Decisions! Umm...All of 'em? Okay, okay, one. Hmmm....this is sooo hard, but just for curiousity's sake, I'll go for door # Sonic RPG.

Sonic RPG. Of course. Sheesh. -Jim Doe

Sonic 4. OH PLEEEASE SEGA, do something right and release a sequel? If they'd had one at the start of the Saturn launch, it would have saved the poor thing from an untimely death at the hands of Sony's assassin.

Oooooh. Tough one. Arrghhh. Not Champinonship, I'm not a big fan of RPGs, so it'd have to be Sonic 4 or R2... oooh... oh, well, the only one I can imagine is Sonic R2.... so I suppose that'd have to be it. Oh yeah... did you know that "R" can be a measurement of supersonic speed? Pretty much explains it, I guess...

SONIC RPG!!!!!!!!!!!!! SONIC RPG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SONIC RPG!!!!!!!! Duh. =P -- ~JM Stalker

OK, one? Well, I'd like to have Sonic Slam/Sonic Jam 2. According to Susan Carlson of Sega it'll have a 3D world with different stuff, and Knuckles Chaotix, Sonic Spinball, and Dr. R's Mean Bean machine. (Genesis for both & the only two Sonic games released in USA that YOU don't have!) Sound cool? -- Bo Bayles! [Well, I sure hope Susan Carlson isn't a liar...]

Sonic R2! Because Nack's going to be in it! ) -- J.N. [I hope so. I was seriously bummed when they left him outta the first one.]

oh, MAN, how can you do this to me?...only one? i dunno...either sonic championsip or sonic r2

Sonic 4. I've always loved the original sonic games. (Also I only have genesis!)

*sweating* NOOOO! I WANT RPG AND SONIC 4! YOU MEAN GIBBON!....I guess I would pick Sonic RPG.

Sonic RPG. The blue dude has had it coming for a long time. Of course, this would be MY version of Sonic RPG, which would probably be absolutely nothing like what's coming out, but hey... why try to change things, eh? Oh, and if you're wondering about my version... well, it involves a few things SEGA won't ever put in a game... like Sonic crying over the loss of Dr. Kintobor. Let's just say if they could put forth a game with the combo potential of Chrono Trigger and the interactivity of Final Fantasy VII, it might be a fitting vehicle for Sonic. Might.

Awww, only one?!!!! Uhhmmm, very tricky question..... ahhh, I'd say Sonic 4 as, believe it or not, even though I'm a dedicated gamer I don't know what an RPG is. (Don't laugh, and don't make any sarcastic comments GG. Now I've said that you will do, though.) [Laugh?! Why, that would be the equivalent of laughing at some starving third-world child who never tasted a pizza in his life! RPG stands for Role-Playing Game. It can best be compared to interactive literature. My suggestion is to go out and pick up one (or all) of the following titles: Lunar Silver Star, Lunar Eternal Blue, Final Fantasy VII, and Grandia. Those are RPG's with some of the richest and most involving stories out there. I guarantee one time through any one of those and you'll be changed for life.]

Sonic 4, cuz fighting games suck, an RPG would be weird, and Sonic R2 would get boring after a while...uhh...there's a reason for all of this, but I dunno what it is...

Sonic Championship. That is such a good game, despite its age. I honestly can't see how Sonic RPG would work.. I mean, what would you do? How would the magic system work? There'd be problems even down to so much as how different the personalities of characters would be from the cartoons. I mean, the US and Japanese Sonics are TOTALLY different, and they're much more likely to use the one grown in their own country. This would lead others to complain that it's just "not our Sonic", so I don't honestly think it'd be very good. Also, an RPG would seriously slow our blue dude down. He doesn't like walking around searching for stuff, but the main part of RPGs is to explore and whatever. So.. no way do I want that to happen. I think NiGHTS would work a LOT better for an RPG, as I said about ten weeks back, but you said "how would the magic system work?". Well, I can see the NiGHTS magic system working a LOT better than the Sonic one! What's Sonic gonna do? Throw! fireballs? I guess he could make a Sonic Boom so bad guys fall on their rumps or something, but that's not magic. So, D'OH! Ah well. Sonic Championship, anyway. :) [Actually, there was a secret trick in Sonic Chaos (aka Sonic and Tails) on Game Gear to make Sonic throw a patented Ryu "Hadoken" in the Sound Test screen...]

Sonic R 2. But only if TJ was singin' and Richie was composin'. I think those two should get married! To a tree, that is! Ho, ho! [Well, now that we're at the end, I guess I'll give my vote, which goes no-contest to Sonic 4. Not since Sonic Triple Trouble (aka Sonic and Tails 2) on Game Gear has there been a TRUE Sonic game. Chaotix, Labyrinth, Drift, R, Championship, Jam, Arcade and others...NONE of which were Sonic games in the traditional sense. Don't get me wrong...RPG's are my favorite genre and one starring Sonic would be pure heaven, but what we need more than anything else right now is a true, 3D, Sonic 4 platformer. The RPG and otherwise can wait.]

Now, here's why you should lock your doors at night:
*********************************************************
I...I'm not ready... -- BH

Tuxedo GG!? *eyes turn into little hearts* Oh, be still my beating heart! -- Sailor Evil [Wow! You mean all this time it was THIS easy?! *GG! puts on a tux and walks over to SE* You know, I may be persuaded to join the bad guys...]

Metal Knuckles: Did you hear that? He dislikes tuxedos. I say we put it on him. Metal Sonic: If we put him in a tuxedo it defeats the purpose of dressing him in drag. Tails Doll: I have a nice little business woman suit in my closet I only wore once... [I dunno...Sailor Evil likes me as Tuxedo GG!, but I sure do look cute as Sailor Scout GG!...ah, decisions, decisions...]

Yay! X-files movie comes out on June 19th! Yay! I'll be there, will you? -- Moon [No way! X-Files gives me the freaks...okay, go ahead and laugh! I bet no one else around here can beat the final boss in Grandia...]

Is this a trick question? How could you choose? Hmm, wait! I have the perfect salution! Cloning! You could clone yourself and get them all! [Cloning?! What do I look like, a freakin' sheep? If there's anything I don't need, it's competition!]

Well, if your not the one swimming in my whip cream pool, who is? Huh? Well? I'm waiting! [Maybe it was Dark Gibbon...]

THIS IS LIFE THRETINING...wait if your so smart wich one do you pick(hehheh) [I am not either so smart, and I happen to choose Sonic 4 with no difficulty! So nyah!]

I know somthing you dont know!Honey likes me(HEHHEH) [I apparently know something you don't...Honey ain't real...]

I'm the Big Cheese, and I like to dress in drag because of the attention I get. I also do that in chat rooms. [Yeah, and I'm driving Sailor Evil wild! I could get to like this...]

The game with the thing! [If you're thinking of the same "thing" as I am, then yeah, I like Pretty Fighter X, too...]

[Uh...I'm sorry, could you speak up?]

Gah! Sorry about that, GG!. I was cleaning off my Enter key and the blasted thing just hit the "Spin on!" button. I sent you that blank form result! ME! I DID! ARGH! -- Jim Doe [Oh...you sure do choose strange times to clean off the buttons on your key- Oh, look...there's a smudge of grease on the Shift BUtTTTTonnnNnNNnn.>>>..>]

As I said Honey likes me.Guess what?So does that cute new school girl! Oh yeagh, the 2nd time I said Honey likes me,i forgot to say HEHHEH.(Its now offically MY trademark.Thats right,HEHHEH PRODUCTIONS,INC. [Well, I happen to know that both Honey and Emi like ME! Atleast, they sure did in that dream I had the other night...*ahem*...]

Sonic Roadkill [Is that the one where Sonic plays the horses in Seaside Street Gallery from Daytona USA, and then they let me drive?]

Spice Da Green Echidna: I have been sent by Great Lord Enerjak to replace you Moon! Nahahahaha! Now go quietly to your death!! Nahahaha! Moon: Excuse me? You?! Replace me?! Hah! GG! would never allow it! Spice Da Green Echinda: I will replace you! I am more lovable and cute! Nahahaha! [Please don't get him mad, Moon...]

Ok Gibbon!, here's the reason there was Final Fantasy III, then Final Fantasy VII. First there was Final Fantasy I, on the Nintendo. But two games called Final Fantasy II and Final Fantasy III were ALSO released in Japan, but not brought to US Nintendos because Nintendo thought they wouldn't sell. Then some say that Final Fantasy IV was made for Nintendo, but Square was convinced by Sega to not release it until their Super Nintendo came out, explaining the not-so-fine graphics. So Final Fantasy IV was released as "Final Fantasy II," because it was the 2nd American FF game. After that, Final Fantasy V was created for Super NES, with much better graphics+sound and was to be called "Final Fantasy III." But, it was pushed back by Final Fantasy Adventure II, aka Secret of Mana. By the time FFV was ready for translation, Final Fantasy VI was completed. Then, FFVI was translated instead as FFIII. Now, when Square moved to Sony, some Big Corporate Guy dec! ided that the games should go by their Japanese Numbers instead, to avoid confusion. So "Final Fantasy VII" was released for Sony. And Final Fantasy VIII is in development. So, FF1=FF1, FF2=FF4, FF3=FF6, and FF7=FF7. Do you understand now? -- ~JM Stalker, Semi-Knowledgable Square Person. [Ah, so that's how it works. I knew there were some FF games they never brought to the USA, and they just decided to go with the original Japanese numbers for FFVII, but I wasn't sure how it worked. And I'm still not. But you seem to have it figured out, so congratulations! *GG! shakes JM's hand*]

Wouldn't it be cool if there was a Sonic team game where Sonic could play on 2 levels, a NiGHTS level, and A Burning Ranger level? And NiGHTS could play on a Sonic level and a BR level And one of the BRs could play on a Sonic and NIGHTS level! [Wouldn't that be a little self-gratifying? Ah, well...so was Fighters Megamix, and it still kicked major butt.]

When I said that the missiles of Robotnik didn't do anything in Sonic R I meant that whenever you're hit by won, it doesn't affect you, unless your standing still or moving really slow. Shooting missiles is only bad for Robotnik and Eggrobo. And Eggrobo should be able to hover over water all the time because it's not fair when he sinks because he can't jump to stay above. [I think Eggrobo's missiles can reach really, really far. Still never does any good though...Eggrobo's probably my least favorite character to play as.]

RPGRPGRPGRPGRPGRPGRPGRPGRPGRPGRPGRPGRPGRPGRPGRPGRPGRPGRPGRPG! Sonic Championship [Now that's what I call indecisive...]

Uh once I became invisable and teleported into the shower with honey but I forgot that the water would make me visable she kicked me so hard I went through the wall then I went into a coma and when I woke up she made me pay for the wall. the moral never get drunk and look at GGs Honey pictures. -- Dark Gibbon [Yeah, but I bet it must've been worth it!]

Uh hi Im Chef from south Park and......I want to make love to you gibbon I want to [censored dialogue...]......... thats to the cutest sailer scout Ive ever seen [Hm...okay, let's get one thing straight...I am a GUY. Okay? I dress in drag, but that's only 'cause I'm not entirely right in the head. A GUY. Sheesh...]

Hello this is Roco from Rocos modern life I would like to say that you are realy cute even Spunky likes you. Hay!!!! Spunky what are you doing on GGs leg. SPUNKY!!! SPUNKY!!!! [Er...no problem, I used to have a cat that did this all the time...]

So uh when are we going to make sweet love -- Chef from South Park [Sheesh, get a room for yourself...]

THERE IS NO SONIC 4 PLANNED!!! There is a Sonic RPG and Sonic R2, but no platformers planned. So Hah! --D-H Sonic F P.S. You think yer cute as a SAILOR SCOUT?! *D-H runs out of the Green Hill Zone and after 2 minutes comes back in, dressed as Arle from Puyo Puyo, and is smiling an anime-style smile* I've GOT to be cuter than you! p [Well, I never heard of any Sonic RPG or Sonic R2, but I heard from Bernie Stolar (of all people) that there was a new Sonic game in development for the Katana! So double hah!]

Yo, Green Gibbon! You said you have never heard of Monty Python's Flying Circus, eh? Well, it was a British sketch comedy show from the 1970's. They show the TV series on Comedy Central from time to time. They've made movies such as: The Life Of Brian, Holy Grail, and And Now For Something Completely Different. If you have time this weekend, try to rent those movies! :) I think you might like it! ) [I'll try, but I'm afraid I'll be too busy playing Final Fantasy Tactics to do anything else...]

I'd rather see Sonic: Green Gibbon!'s Quest. 'Cause that'd be great, and all that. Yeah man, boogie! [Actually, that game's been cancelled. After SoA got through censoring all the suggestive Honey remarks, there was nothing left but the title screen and the credits. Ah well...easy come, easy go...]

Sonic vs Jonothon Pears, but that won't happen 'cause JON'S GONE! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! [Could be worse. We could not be getting the game 'cause SONIC was gone...]

Here are the results for last week's videogame poll, "What game has had the biggest impact on your life?":
Sonic: 12 votes
Final Fantasy: 3 votes
Mario: 3 votes

If you're talking ANY game, I'd say Monkey Island 1, since I got most of my sarcasm from that computer game. If you're talking a SEGA game, then probably Sonic and Knuckles for the Genisis.

SONIC 2/DIDDY KONG RACING/FINAL FANTASY VII

RIVEN--Del(yes you can still shoot me) Okay okay I'll give a response you want... whooboy...uhhhh... Either the FIRST Sonic game, Ecco: The Tides of Time, or Sonic 3&Knuckles locked on(It'd probably have been FFVII but I don't do RPGs or Playstation. but Sony is okay. Not like the @$$-munching Microsoft. DIE BILL GATES DIE! AND BRING HTE OTHER BILL WITH YOU WHILE YOUR AT IT!) -- Del [Hm...if you really hate Microsoft that much, then you're in a bit of a dilemma. You see, it has been officially confirmed that Sega and Microsoft are working together to create the Katana. Sonic and Bill Gates are friends...so you have to ask yourself one question...do you feel lucky? (Sorry...)]

Duck Hunt! This was the first game that made you feel like a god. You could kill them, make them fly around for enternity feeling like their free and kill them, or let them go. The laughing dog was the icing on the cake. I've always wanted to kill it. WHY WON'T THEY ME KILL IT?!!! [Phew, that's a relief! I was afraid I was the only one who ever tried to kill the dog...]

Knuckles & Sonic!!!!!!!!! Long live Knuckles!!!!!!! Wah-hooooo!!!! -- Moon [Pfft, Knuckles is okay, but Sonic rules the universe! Then Metal Sonic, then Nack, then Espio, then Tails Doll!]

As a little gibbon growing up I think Mario had the greatest efect I could anialate the Koopas (and kiss peach) in less than a hour when I was a gibbon of only eight. -- Dark Gibbon AKA Democrat Boy Ps Mario is stupid now Peach has him wipped kissing him on the friggen nose mario aint gitten none! [It is indeed a long schnozz to get around...and it's certainly not worth the journey to land a kiss on Mario's cheek...I still haven't figured out what that Peach woman sees in him (or vice versa, for that matter...).]

Duck Hunt dont laph -- Clarence33 [What laugh? That seems to be more popular than I woulda thought...]

Uhh, Sonic 1 for game gear. It was the first Sonic game I ever played. It was also responsible for getting me into Sonic fandom. [Whoah, you mean I'm not the only one who played Sonic 1 for Game Gear?! The Bridge Zone rules, doesn't it? Did you ever beat it with the good ending? I can beat it with five Chaos Emeralds, but I'm not sure if there's a sixth or not...I believe it's somewhere in the Sky Base Zone, but I was never able to locate it.]

Sonic 2. I got the Sega Genesis by forcing my parents to buy it by buying Sonic The Hedgehog and Sonic & Knuckles(it does work, GG). Sonic 2 came with the Genesis and the game just gives you a feeling, ya know? It's kinda weird, but it just feels...special.

Sonic 1 was the first vid game I ever played. It isn't my favorite, but guess that was important or something.

Super Mario Bros., the very first game I played. I was five, and Nintendo had just come out with the wonderful thing known as the Nintendo Entertainment System. When I first found that the actions that my fingers made on the control pad made the small sprite on the screen move around and interact with the environment around it, I was hooked. It had the most profound affect on me simply by opening me up to the world of video games. -- Jim Doe [And yet you refuse to buy any of the newest systems! In Mario 64, not only do you get to move the polygons (evolution of sprites) to the left and right, but also in and out! And you get to decide just how fast you want those polygons to move by the amount of force you exert on the analog joystick! Surely there must be some unimportant thing you can sacrifice to afford the latest consoles! Believe me, they're more than worth it!]

Uhh Fighting Vipers.(hehheh)

Gimme an 'S'! Gimme an 'O'! Gimme an 'N'! Gimme an 'I'! Gimme a 'C'! It's 'WHURRGHLL'! (I can't spell) Seriously, I think Sonic's the one, because he got me into video games to be exposed to NiGHTS (which I am obsessed with =D [Who isn't?]

It's a tie between every Square game ever made for the Super Nintendo. I played them all! MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! But that's besides the point. Square SNES games make you laugh, cry, be happy, and have fun, but don't kill off everyone and have extensive cursing. Well, maybe not Secret of Evermore and Final Fantasy Mystic Quest, along with Breath of Fire, but the rest were all good. I never DID get to play those Jap games, though, except for FFV, so I don't know what they're like. [FFVII had its fair share of cursing, although it was toned down ever-so-slightly for the American release.]

Sonic 2 on Game Gear. My first Sonic game. I bought it right after reading issue 3 of the Sonic comic. And then I watched the cartoons, bought more comics, bought games and a Genesis, more comics, traded a cool game for a way cool Saturn ( )), and bought more comics! Wow, what it takes to be a Sonic fan... -- Bo [Here's what I did...ditch the comics altogether! They're not worth it anymore. Use all the money you're saving to buy more games, and the Sonic games will of course come as a package deal! *insane laughter*]

When I was a preteen until I was 15, I was a huge Mario freak! I've solved all their games, had every cartoon episode on tape, had a t-shirt, etc. BTW, Green Gibbon, Luigi used to be my favorite character, too! But now, I'm a Sonic fan, ever since I saw the Sonic cartoon first hit the airwaves. I wasn't a Mario fan, anymore. I guess you could say that I was a Mario fan turned Sonic fan! ) -- J.N.

Don't know don't care there all fun though! [Oh, c'mon...surely there must be atleast ONE game that changed your life forever...]

Ecco The Dolphin and Ecco: The Tides of Time. Try to guess who wrote this....

Final Fantasy VII. Need you ask? Need you even think of asking? Well, you asked, so you obviously felt you needed to... but FFVII completely redefined my concept of RPG-dom. I'll never look at any other game the same again... not even my favorite-until-FFVII, Phantasy Star IV. The game combined a great story, a bunch of fallible characters, absolutely superb graphics, and some very nice interactive elements to basically transcend genres.

The original Virtua Fighter. If it weren't for that game, I wouldn't be as into 3D Fighters as I am now. [For me, it was Virtua Fighter Kids. Yes, Kids. After really getting into that, I checked out Virtua Fighter 2 again with a new understanding of the fighting genre art, and I was permanently hooked. I would give ANYTHING to play Virtua Fighter 3...]

Q-bert! So sue me.

Definitely Sonic 2. The first Mega Drive game I ever had and that got obsessed with the blue guy!

Sonic 2 as it was the first Mega Drive game I got (apart from Mega Games 1 which came with it, but there's not a lot I can say about it without using strong language!) and that clinched the deal (I'd already played Sonic on my Master System) and I'm now totally obsessed with Sonic! (Oh, and Sega, too.)

SONIC THE HEDGEHOG! I wouldn't have been a gamer without that game... Way Past Cool! *D-H crosses his legs (while standing up) and points his finger in the air* --D-H Sonic F [Although the original Frogger and Sega CD Lunar: The Silver Star deserve special mention, the game that had the greatest impact on my existence was without a shadow of a doubt, the original Genesis Sonic the Hedgehog. From the first time I controlled the hedgehog with an attitude for 60 seconds on a Toys "R" Us display case, it was pure magic. I owe my entire obsession with videogames to the one and only Sonic the Hedgehog!]

This is what bored hardcore gamers do with their time:
***********************************************************
GooglyGagly! -- BH!

*Sailor Evil begs MS MK & TD* please make him take off the scout uniform! It's too cute! ahhhh! [Oh, I might take it off, depending on what you're willing to take off... *Possessed Spam whacks GG! upside the head with the Sacred Cow Blade* Ow! What?! What'd I say?!]

None. Unlike SOME people I have a life which is filled with ACTUAL experiences that have a profound effect on that life. Thank you for listening Mr. I-have-no-life-and-never-ever-will--EVER. Bwah ha ha ha! I laugh at your dweeby-loserness! Bwah ha ha ha ha! [And you're bragging about this? Sheesh, lose the life...]

ITS BEEN CONFFIRMED FOR OVER 25 YEARS!!!GIBIONEATERS RPG WILL BE A HIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(AND I MUST AGREE WITH THAT PHANTOM STRANGER...YOUR WEIRD) [Gibboneaters RPG is history! Believe me, I was there when it was cancelled...]

The one where Sonic ran around in circles for the entire game due to a bug, and hypotized me into being a psychotic Sonic nut. [That WASN'T a bug! I told you the lazy Susan was a stupid place to put your Genesis!]

You know that game where you try to get the ball on the string into a cup? That game has had a huge impact on me and my neighbors. [This is me acting like I didn't hear that, so I'll be able to get to sleep tonight.]

Um, my lawyers have advised me to let you know I was just kidding 'bout the cup and ball thing. My real answer: Chess. [This is me preparing the sleeping pills and a glass of warm milk.]

Spice Da Green Echidna: I will replace you! Moon: You said that already. Who are you anyway? Spice Da Green Echidna: I am you from a backwards world known as the Emerald Hill Zone! Moon: Uh...sure you are...*rolls eyes* Spice Da Green Echidna: Now prepare to die!!!!! Moon: You really think they'd let you replace me? I am far too loved and far too delusional. I am irreplacable. Spice Da Green Echidna: OH YEAH? *throws Moon through a realm portal* Nahahahaha!! Now to report to Lord Enerjak and tell him the good news... [I told her not to get him mad...anyone got some fishing line? *GG! breaks out a rod & reel and a fishing hat loaded with lures* Now what shall we do, fish Moon outta there or go fish some largemouth bass outta the Azure Lake Zone? Hm...decisions, decisions...]

hehehe..I spend two hours a day RPING, I write stories based on'em, I read stories based on'em......everything I do is based on'em...almost. -- Alethea [Oooookaaay...now, just sit down, and put away the sugar-based foods. Here, down this shot of straight Drano, and think about what your mother would say...]

And now, for my own little breed of insanity...

Crossover Denial #45

Sailor Evil: Such a beautiful new world... a pity Sephy and me will soon have it in ruins. (Evil Laughter [tm])

Glazius: Not another one. Look, I've told your little friends that I'm here to observe and to see that this planet follows its own destiny. Meaning (ticks off items on his wingfeathers) no offworld intervention, no dimension-hopping, no portals to alternate universes. Do I make myself clear?

Sailor Evil: (turns around to look at the creature who was addressing her) Oh, look. A BIRD. I'm so scared... Chaos Blast DESTROY! (A massive spark of black energy flares forth, engulfing the falcon... who is somehow unharmed.)

Glazius: (laughing) Chaos blast? Chaos blast? Lady, that was no chaos blast, that was Schroedinger on a bad wavelet day. Now this is a chaos blast. (draws a blaster and fires a vaguely purple beam at Sailor Evil)

Sailor Evil: (not even bothering to duck) Aimed a little high, didn't you, falcon boy? (Reaches a hand up to her head) Didn't even... (Trails off... draws a mirror from somewhere and confirms in a matter of seconds that she is, in fact, completely bald.) WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY HAIR?!

Glazius: (shrugs) I resolved it into its component quarks and randomly dispersed them through the universe, as was their wont. Don't worry, that ugly mop you like to call hair might reassemble itself, given a billion years or so. Now... (levels blaster at Sailor Evil) am I going to have to aim a bit lower, or are you going to leave quietly?

Sailor Evil: (gulps) Umm... yeah... (vanishes in a swirl of energy)

Glazius: (sighs) First that alien orange fox, then the computer-hacking raccoon, then that shapeshifter from Killdeer or something... and now this. You'd think the planet had enough of its own problems. (restores his psychic cloak and silently takes off)

[*munching on popcorn* Not bad. When's the movie deal come out? And doesn't Sailor Evil object to having her hair fried off? Then again, Demi Moore did it for G.I. Jane, or whatever the heck it was finally called...]

The Sonic Screen saver. Hey,I know you have one [More like I wish I had one. All I've got are the background images from it.]

Hey, can anyone here do impressions of Scratch, Grounder, and Coconuts? I can! Anyone else? :) -- J.N. [Ooh, I used to be able to do a PERFECT Scratch until my voice changed...now I've lost the ability. Although K.T.E. can still do a perfect Grounder and Coconuts...]

Hi evrybody I just thought Id warn you this little gibbon will be 16 in a month and has his restricted licence so if you are rideing down the road and see a strange dark looking gibbon and a man with his eyes shut tight GET OFF THE ROAD!lets try to prevent accidents(and my inshurence going up).ahh I hate driveing -- Dark Gibbon [Well, it seems we have something in common after all...]

Chuckie Egg for the Sinclair Spectrum. Now THAT was a game! Henhouse Harry ran around dodging birds and collecting eggs, and he had to get the time-stopping corn before the birds ate it! Then after level nine, the levels repeated themselves, but instead of the birds, you had one BIG bird that could go through platforms and follow you everywhere! And THEN when you got to level 18, which was level 9 with the BIG bird, the levels repeated again but you had the BIG bird and the NORMAL birds all in one!! AGGH!!! I never got further than level 26 though, so I dunno what happens after that.. I'm sure it'd be amazingly cool, though. Hmm, actually, now I think of it, the Amstrad version was better, 'cause you could duck in a little corner of the screen and the BIG bird couldn't get you, 'cause he bounced off the room just above you! Ho, ho, ho!!! Uh.. don't put this in the "Bored Hardcore Gamers" section please, 'cause this is honestly true! [It's not that I don't trust you, it's just that I think I've found out where all those missing Drano cookies have been going...]
