Seven X The Resident Reploid Regular ! (8/24/00 1:56:59 am) Reply A Reploid Named Seven X(part one) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We-ell, here it is! ------------------------------------------------------------ You were meant...to be...the chosen one... Darkness...darkness enveloped everything, yet the pounding voice echoed in the walls of Seven's brain. She twisted frantically in her bed, entangling herself in the bedsheets. Closer, closer...the hand reached out... "YAAA!" yelled Seven, cold beads of sweat running down her forehead. She breathed. "The chosen one...No...must, not, believe..." Standing up, she stared out of the unit window. It was still night. "Could it be?" She stared at the night sky. Her watch beeped. Eleven pm. The hunter drank from a drink cylinder in tiny sips. Mavericks of a new kind were invading the network. Each day she came home, always covered in blood. She exhaustedly limped back to her bed. Her eyes closed as she fell into an uneasy slumber... Morning came. Her face was deathly white, as her knuckles clenched and unclenched, showing the protruding veins, or wires, underneath. The nightmare...she recalled a voice, and the killing of someone she never knew, yet looked so familiar. Burning on a stake, the tortured wails drawn out to the limit of hearing... She entered the dining room, still in her blue pajamas. A few others were already up. Shorty, Mike, and Seth were busy eating breakfast. "Looks like you had a rough night." "Mm-hmm..." "Hey, in this book, it says that the "Light Messenger" comes a thousand years to pick someone called the "Chosen One". Seems like it was meant for destroying the world...or something." Remarked Shorty, peering into the book. Seven perked up. The chosen one...the hand...could it really be true? She shuddered as she remembered the dream. It was so real...maybe...just maybe... She wordlessly walked out. The others not paying any attention to her. She went back to her unit, and grabbed a strange looking silver book from her drawer. It was found two days ago, mysteriously beside her pillow when she woke up. Asking all of TPCG, they denied everything. She kept it, and used it as a journal. Two pages were filled already. "I don't know what's happening to me. The chosen one...all those nightmares..." She wrote down. Little did she know that someone was watching her.... Who's the big poohbah? Find out in part two!
