Sonic turned around to see a gypsy Hedgehog. He was blue like Sonic and wore a blue hat, magenta 
eye mask, black gloves, magenta/blue(divided in middle) body suit, yellow neck thingy, ear
ring in left ear,yellow feather in hat(imagine a hedgehog that dresses like Clopin from Hunchback
of Notre Dame-Liz). "I'm Soni, King of the Gypsies."
Sally looked at Soni. "I thought there were no more gypsies on Mobius."
"Robotnik hates us. He's killed off most of us, but we live on. There are some of us up there on
a mission and I could get them to push down some rope ladders that I know are up there...." 
He suddenly saw Rysa.
"Esmeralda!"
Thomas looked surprised. "Rys, how do you know him?"
"I'm adopted. My real name Esmeralda and my real mom was a gypsy.....before she was slain by
Robotnik."
Sonic looked up. "Well we need to get up there. Soni?"
The gypsy hog gave a short, strange whistle. Instantly, the ladders fell (one even fell atop of 
Anil). Soni mounted the ladder. "You want a piece of that wolf?"
"Yes."
"Then come on!"

When they had reached the top, the gypsies, only numbering twenty, appeared. Soni spoke with them
and then told Sonic. "Raza was here. Now, you will need a good guide to get you past the rough
Southlands....."
Sonic understood what Soni was trying to say. "Yes, Soni, you and your gypsies can join us."
Anil looked at the gypsies. "They dress funny."
Ryan cuffed him across his ears. "Have some manners, young wolf!"
An otter gypsy chuckled. "That's okay. It's what everyone thinks. We don't care."
Ringo looked at the small group of gypsies. "I always thought there were more gypsies."
Soni shook his head in despair. "Robotnik hated us. One night, on the night after he took over, 
he ambushed us, killing five score. Six score of us escaped. He can never run nor hide from what
he's done. One day, he will be brought down and us gypsies will be there to see it!"
Jabez put his arm around the hedgehog. "You're right! He will be brought down! He can defeat some
of us but he can never destroy all of us!"

Raza and her slavers were at the river. She looked down at the darkened water as Stonefleck took
a ferry out of the bushes. "We can get across by tonight. My rats will take care of your enemies.
Fair?"
Raza looked back at the warriors who had managed to climb up the cliff. "Are you sure you can
destroy them?"
"I could defeat them with a quarter of my host. But I don't like to take chances. My rats need
some fun."
The masked wolf looked into the water. "That is if they get across the river."

Soni climbed up a tree and looked ahead. "There's a river up ahead! We might want to voyage when
daylight dims!"
Sonic looked up. "Why?"
Knuckles supplied an answer. "It's known that villains often set up traps. If there's a horde on
the other side, we can give them the slip."

The Guosim were building a raft while Anil was bugging Ryan. "Rrrryaaaaan, when will we eaaaat?"
"Listen, why don't you sit down and shut that muzzle of yours before I shut it for you?"
"Oh c'mon old grumpy ears!"
Ryan gave the young wolf a piece of his mind while the Guosim finally finished the raft as day
light dimmed. Soni hopped on along with everyone else as they went across the river.

Kalamka and Tails looked across to the other side. "I can't see them!" the badger moaned.
"All the better Kalamka. Neither can the rats."
Raza rushed the slavers and slaves on as Tails muttered. "Destiny keep them safe."

The raft of the freedom fighters floated silently across the river. Soni looked at the rats who
tried hard to find them. The slavers were long gone. The raft landed on shore. A weasel from the 
Guosim lept down only to be bitten by a fish. "YOOOOOOOOW!!!!!!!"

Suddenly, they were ambushed by rats! The gypsies scattered and ran off. "Some friends." Knuckles
mumbled as he and Sonic fought the oncoming horde of rats. A few of the Guosim fell before a 
familiar voice rang out. "Stop or I'll slay him!"
Soni had Stonefleck in a headlock. All activity stopped. The other gypsies were no where to be
found. The rats put down their weapons. Soni made as to let go Stonefleck, then pulled out a 
daggar and stabbed the rat in the back. The other gypsies along with a huge owl jumped upon the
rats. Within minutes, all the rats were gone. Soni and his gypsies made an elegant bow. "Meet
Sir Harry the Muse the V, Sonic!"
The owl nodded, hooted and flew off.

Raza and the slavers walked along while Raza took a glance back. "Damn those gypsies! They slew
Stonefleck and his horde!"
The masked wolf smiled. She had reached the gap. The gap was literally a huge gap in the Earth.
The only way across was a rope bridge. Raza walked neatly across. "C'mon! Either you come over
here or stay there and starve!"
Threeclaws went across. Halftail picked up the slave line and walked it across. Unfortunatly, 
Browntooth got scared and jumped on Badrag. The bridge began to sway as the slaves and slavers
ran across. The bridge broke and fell along with Browntooth and Badrag. 

The slavers watched in horror while Raza smiled insanely. "See, completely bottomless! Let's see
those gypsy vermin and Sonic try to cross that!"

Okay, I know these are getting a bit shorter per chapter but oh well, it makes it more intense.
Here's a little history about Soni.

Background:
Born destinied to one day be King of the gypsies, Soni lived his childhood days somewhere. When
Robotnik took over 11 years ago, Soni hid with the other 220 gypsies. Robotnik found them and 
killed 100 including Soni's parents. The gypsies relocated to the Cave of Miracles and hid until
5 years later when they helped Sonic find the young ones of Knothole. His "Uncle" is Clopin
(from Hunchback of Notre Dame) which gives him his middle name. Clopin adopted him.

Okay, I'm really sorry I didn't get to Janja, but I will in Slavers and Warriors Part five which
you will also see the slavers do mutiny. Oh joy of joy.

Into the Void which stars your favorite and mine........Clopin!
