DISNEYLAND:  FIRESTORM 

Installment # 2

YIYIYIYIYIYIYIYIYI!! 

Five goons blocking the front door part like the red sea as 
Pocahontas backflips though the entryway and into the scene like 
she owned the place.  She was dressed for the part too, with her 
skin-tight short-skirt all black dress, low heel boots, and wrist 
length gloves.  Taking up a page from David's book, she also got 
elbow and knee pads as well. 

Esmeralda:  Whoa!  Someone decided to wear it out the store.  So 
this is the Mistress Pocahontas everyone told me about. 

Pocahontas flicked out her bullwhip and disarmed two of Frollo's 
goons.  "Please, Poca, our pay's less than $300--" 

Pocahontas:  Yer overpaid.  Hit the road. 

Esmeralda:  <Aside> I like her already.  <Out loud>  Mind if I 
join in, Pocahontas?"  <She leaps gracefully to Poca's side.> 

As the first pair of about a dozen bug out, Poca turns to Frollo, 
holding David by the collar:  "Drop that man, Frollo!" 

Frollo:  No way, Mistress <said with a hiss>.  This man's wanted 
by the law on multiple counts of Copyright Infringement in the 
First-- 

David:  Phrack you, Butthead!  I've been exonerated by Disney. 
Those charges are dropped-- 

Frollo:  I'm talking about *my* charges, Gonterman!  *MY* Law! 

David gives Frollo an obscene guesture just off-screen.  Just as 
he was about to respond in shocked outrage . . . 

SHROOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!! 

David fires a pulse thrower at point blank, right at Frollo's 
gut.  He is sent flying backwards while David sails into a shelf 
of Disney Animated Storybooks.  He'll get up groggily and with a 
cut over his right eye as he sees Pocahontas kick and punch her 
way past ten bad guys, with Esmeralda backing her up by throwing 
Floppy Disks at ambushing opponents and deflecting attacking 
projectiles with her scarf, a la Rose from Street Fighter Alpha. 

Quasimodo checks out David as he shakes the stars away.  "David! 
You're hurt!" 

David:  Just a scratch, Quasi.  I'll be okay.  Gimme one of those 
napkins, will ya? 

Quasimodo hands David several of them to put over the cut.  They 
notice Frollo getting up and charging their way, smarting rod at 
the ready.  They devised a plan:  Get behind opposite shelves and 
topple them over that living inspiration for abortion as he 
passes.  They manage to topple it over, but Frollo manages to 
back away, out of the falling Audio CDS . . . 

And straight into Pocahontas. 

She opens up a combo with a walking two fist at the head, 
followed by a two-hit kick that knocks the rod away, which is the 
start of her revving up her Lightning Leg.  Before it begins 
though, she manages to pull off a leaping spin kick-punch that 
knocks Frollo into a corner in the back wall.  Then the Lightning 
Leg kicks in, literary.  Frollo is kicked nine ways from Sunday 
all at once as the blurring leg of Poca strikes all over his body 
at a speed so fast, it appeared to be instantaneous.  But she 
wasn't even done yet.  She continues her combo with an Inverted 
Spinning Bird Kick that whaps against Frollo's skull in windmill 
fashion before finishing up with a wall-clearing Mortal Kombat 
uppercut. 

To David's surprise, Frollo lands on his feet, still alive!  Yet, 
he was pretty roughed up by Mistress Poca's attack.  He was 
knocked out of his robe, which lands into David's arms.  All four 
limbs were blackened with bruises.  He can easily seen at least 
one broken rib under the shirt, but they didn't break the skin. 
His nose was bloodied however, and the left eye and ear was 
swollen into a Quasimodo impersonation by the Inverted spinning 
bird kick. 

Pocahontas walked right up to the swaying Frollo, went real close 
to his face, and blew him a kiss.  He fell back unconscious. 

Everyone in the room applauded at Poca's fighting style, who just 
smiled shyly and returned to David.  "David!  You're bleeding 
over your eye." 

David:  I am?  <looks into the napkins over his eye>  Aw, crud. 
I am.  Must've fallen over those CD's wrong. 

Poca catches Frollo's hat as it finally falls to the ground, and 
flicks out a dagger to slice off the ribbon on it.  She uses the 
strip of fabric to bind David's wound.  She puts her hands on 
David's shoulders and giggles at him a but until she hears some 
groaning from Frollo. 

It was Esmeralda's turn now:  Now that Pocahontas has made her 
point.  <She waves her hand over her face>  I'm going to make 
<SNIKT> *three!* 

Three slender knives appear in Esmeralda's fist. 

"One--<THOCK!!  She throws Knife 1 at Frollo, piercing his right 
ear.>--David Gonterman now has the Diplomatic Immunity of being a 
Disney Agent.  You can't even give him a parking ticket. 
Two--<THOCK!!  Knife 2 pierces the left ear.>--You don't have the 
authority in this part of the space-time continuum to even give 
*anyone* a parking ticket.  Two and a half . . ." 

She flips Knife 3 up in the air, spinning fast, until it falls in 
a direct path to Frollo's groin.  Every male, including David and 
Quasimodo, was doubled over just as Pocahontas grabs the third 
Knife, just inches before doing away with whatever gender Frollo 
has left. 

Pocahontas:  I can be a real serious bitch if my man gets hurt by 
the likes of you.  I'm sure you don't want Number Three! 

She hands the third knife back to Esmeralda, and picks up David. 
"Come now, David.  *You* didn't get neutered back there." 

David:  Jeez, remind me not to get you mad at me, Poca. 

Pocahontas:  Why?  What could you do to get me mad at you? 
You're a lot more open-minded than you'd care to admit. 

Frollo:  [EXPLETIVE] Squaw . . . God'll cast you . . . 

Pocahontas:  <Sighs and Pouts>  Unlike some others . . . 

Poca turns back to Frollo, but David stops her.  "My Turn, if you 
don't mind." 

She lets him approach Frollo's prone body. 

David looks around him.  "My contribution for Birth Control."  He 
then turns around and gives Frollo a good hard kick between the 
legs with authority.  The high pitched scream was predictable and 
understandable. 

"Ha-ha-ha!!  The Extra Point is good!  Come on, Ladies, Quasi. 
Let's check out of here."

Later on, at David's apartment, Pocahontas is rubbing down 
David's back, which was tender in some spots.  "Dave, I will not 
envy you in the morning." 

"I'll live, Poca.  It's only some minor cuts and bruises, nothing 
serious.  I'll just take two tablets of aspirin with my morning 
coffee.  Man, that was some combo you did on Frollo, where'd you 
learn that?" 

"I picked it up back home.  Being one of the few women destined 
to lead an Indian tribe, I get the occasional young brave with an 
I-can-lead-tribe-heap-better-than-any-woman <said in a fake Tonto 
accent that would get her shot at if said anywhere other than as 
a joke> attitude, so I had to fight them off.  It must be my 
father's influence; he's an accomplished warrior . . . hey, 
what's that high-pitched noise.  It sounds like somebody's 
choking Flit." 

"Oh, it's the modem kicking in.  I programed my computer to log 
on the 'Net every night at around midnight to get my E-Mail and 
update my Pointcast Program." 

"Pointcast?  That's this graphic stuff on the screen that shows 
the news and weather and stuff?  I've been reading that while I'm 
on top of ya.  I'm a quick learner on the English Language an-- 
Num-Ma-Cha City!  What's that face doing here?!" 

David turns his head.  "Hey!  I thought I seen that head before. 
He was peeking out of Quasi's deck as well!" 

From the other side of the computer screen, the Virtual Being was 
taken back that Pocahontas was hovering over David Gonterman's 
bare back in nothing but a power bra and panties.  She quickly 
covered herself with a nearby sheet as David squirms out from 
under her.  "Is this what caused the Telecommunications Bill to 
be passed?!  If you want that kind of stuff, go to Ariel!  She 
doesn't mind walking around naked!" 

The Entity had a very hard time hiding his embarrassment.  "Oops. 
I didn't know that you have one of our Princesses in your bed, 
Mr. Gonterman.  Some other time perhaps."   

It started to leave as David pulled up the keyboard.  "Wait a 
minute!  Who are you and what are you doing in *my* personal 
space!  So help me, if he catches a pic of us in the same bed 
like that . . ." 

Poca continued that thought as David activated his VR Browser. 
"At least we weren't having sex on that bed, as if you were 
planing to do that with me at this point in our relationship." 

"Sex is highly overrated at this decade, Poca."  David banged at 
the keys as the browser screen follows the Virtual Entity, now 
represented by a shining star, through a series of tunnels and 
corridors that had the motion-sickness inducing complexity of a 
Descent game.  "Me?  I want intimacy to be special.  That's why I 
like to take it slow." 

"You are a rare find, David.  What was that thing you're 
following anyway?" 

"My guess is that's an Artificial Intelligence program.  AI for 
short.  It's a special kind of program designed to think like you 
or me.  They live in cyberspace, like your Grandmother Willow in 
her tree." 

"Makes perfect sense:  If spirits can inhabit trees, rocks, and 
creatures; they can certainly find their way into computers as 
well!  What that's up ahead?" 

The AI star passes through a gate, which slams shut, covering 
itself with a thick sheet of gray crystals. 

David:  Aw crud.  ICE!  <Poca:  hmm?>  Intrusion Countenance 
Electronics.  They're like guards at the door; they keep unwanted 
users out of whatever's inside.  Including that AI.  We're not 
getting at it tonight. 

Poca:  Don't you have something in your computer to . . . well .
