SonIXHedgehog: Well, it's based on the SegaSonic universe, the games, but
really, my inspiration came from other fan comics, like Sonic Ideal. I liked it
so much i wanted one of my own.
SonIXHedgehog: And the SegaSonicverse gave me an excellent amount of room for
originality
Commander_Centurion: well since there wasn't a plot to begin with....
SonIXHedgehog: Ha ha. Really, there is. I simply filled in a lot of places,
such as origins for particular characters. I through characters like Sally
and Julie-su in to add to the plot too.
Commander_Centurion: just as Archie did
SonIXHedgehog: Yes. Still, my origins for those two are different. In Hype,
there's no Dark Legion, so you can bet Julie's origin is different. As for
Sally...,
SonIXHedgehog: Her story is much more different from the traditional Archie or
SatAM one. All I'm going to say is that there will be a big mystery as to
where she comes from and what happened to her family
Commander_Centurion: and how did you come to some of the new characters?
SonIXHedgehog: Well, in the creation of Spiker, I wanted to create a character
that was the anti-Knuckles. He has all of Knux's powers, but he's evil, has
no sense of responsibility....,
SonIXHedgehog: and of course, he looks different. As for Morraine, he is
Spiker's brother. They are complete opposites. I created him both to be
Spiker's enemy and to develop Spiker's past and character.
Andrea the Dingo was created to be Nack's rival. Added to that, she has a bit
of a crush on Sonic, something I added to add interest to the stories.
Wired and Nevanna Evolia are villains who are against Eggman(Robotnik) but are
also would be world conquerers. They're there because I didn't think one
villain would be enough.
Axle is a character I have yet to develope. He was mostly inspired by Rotor,
that I'll admit. But he's known Sonic longer than anyone else.
SonIXHedgehog: And finally, there's T2, tail's sister. She was created by the
artist T2, but I allowed her to be in the story because I saw potential to
devlop a story centered around Tails.
Centurion: and how is the first comic's plotline going?
SonIXHedgehog: The plot for the first issue is finished. The script is done,
and the artists are working on the art. The story is part of a 4 parter
that leads into a Sonic Adventure adaption.
Commander_Centurion: when shall it be ready for the public?
SonIXHedgehog: Uh, well, I have yet to ask Ian J when he'll be done with his
pages that he's drawing for the comic. It'll be soon, that I can say
Commander_Centurion: What's the future of the series?
SonIXHedgehog: After the SA story, we'll bring in Julie-su, work on a series
that focuses on Sonic's past, focus on the origins of various characters,
all of that among other things... which I cannot yet go into.
